CHEERLEADING PROGRAM Minimize

The FCCJC Cheerleading Program is offered to youth in kindergarten through 8th grade.  Squads are formed by high school area and cheer for fall football teams at Heritage Park.  Some squads cheer for winter basketball teams in GABL or PABL.

Registrations will be held at various locations in March and April.  See below for registration dates, times and locations.  Late registrations may be accepted based on availability on squads after the deadline.

The Junior Cheerleading Program is available to youth who will be in kindergarten, 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade in the coming school year.  They are divided into squads according to high school boundaries whenever possible and will cheer for 6 to 8 football games played on weekends beginning in September.

New or used uniforms must be purchased by the parent/guardian.  Cost for uniforms vary, depending on the high school area.  Information on uniforms is available at registration.  The basic uniform includes skirt, briefs and top.  There is an additional cost for accessories.

Fundraising opportunities are determined by each high school area.  Some individual squads also do fundraising for specific activities.

The success of this program depends on quality adult leadership and participation.  The support and involvement of parents whose children take part in the program is critical to its success.  Coaches, assistant coaches and squad assistants are always needed.  If you can help your team, please indicate this on the registration form or contact your cheerleading area director.
