With State and President’s Cup quickly approaching, the Boys Pride Directors of Coaching brought the participating State Cup u12-14 boys teams together. Coaches and players from Predator 03, Copa 03, Predator 02, Predator 01 and Copa 01 gathered for a pre-tournament motivational meeting to bolster club camaraderie and prepare for the event. To end the night, MLS Cup Champion James Riley, who is a native of Colorado Springs ,spoke to the players. James shared his thoughts on how to prepare for competition and to be your best which included making the game fun, connecting yourself to transformational people that will speak into your life, and finally he inspired the players to never lose sight of their dreams. This was a great opportunity for Pride players to hear from someone that grew up here in Colorado Springs and who has gone on to achieve great success at the highest of levels.
