FCCJC offers a spring flag football program for students in kindergarten through 5th grade and a 7-on-7 program for students in grade 5-8.  Registration is generally held in February and March (mail, fax, walk-in and online) and games are played in April and May.  Teams are formed by high school area, as registrations allow.

The fall program includes flag football for kindergarten through 3rd grade and tackle football for 2nd through 8th graders.  Flag football registrations are accepted by mail, fax, walk-in and online.  Participants in the tackle  program must register at Heritage Football Complex on one of the designated registration days during the summer.  They are weighed and fitted for shoulder pads and helmet if renting the equipment.  A doctor is available at scheduled registrations to perform a sport physical for $20.

A football camp is presented each summer by FCCJC with the support of the KC Chiefs for children entering grades 4 through high school.

By clicking on the buttons below, registration brochures can be accessed as well as game schedules for spring and fall programs.

Fall Tackle Minimize

The fall tackle program is for 2nd through 8th graders.  Participants in the tackle program must register during one of the designated registration days each summer.  There are generally 5 registration days scheduled on Saturdays throughout the summer.

Players are weighed and fitted for shoulder pads and helmet if renting the equipment.  Players who own their own equipment should bring it to registration to have the equipment checked and approved for wearing during the season.

A doctor is available at scheduled registrations to perform a sport physical for $20.  Tackle players MUST have a physical prior to starting practice.  If parents take their child to their own physician, a generic physical form is available by clicking here.

Players choosing to quit should return their equipment to the FCCJC office at 6740 Antioch, Suite 250, during regular business hours (Mon-Fri, 9 am to 5 pm).  If quitting before games begin, the equipment rental fee, less a $5 administrative fee, will be refunded by check.  Unsold raffle tickets should also be returned at the same time.
